How to mix Peptides a step by step reconstitution guide

   What you need to hand:

  • Syringe - typically 1ml (volume) 31g (gauge/thickness diameter)

  • Diluent/mixing water - Bacteriostatic (BAC water)

  • Chosen peptides to reconstitute (mix)

  • Alcohol wipes and medical gloves - users discretion but advisable and best practice

Remove flip off cap from BAC water and peptide

Wipe the rubber top of vial with alcohol wipe to sterilise vial

Take the syringe and draw the syringe back to the same value you plan to withdraw of diluent - this will fill the empty syringe with air

If you plan to withdraw 1ml of BAC water inject 1ml of air into the vial this helps create a positive pressure inside the vial preventing vacuum and increasing ease of fluid extraction

For reference 1ml is shown as 100 units

on a 1 ml syringe each 10 unit is 0.1ml

Now inject air from the syringe (the equivalent volume you plan to withdraw) into vial once the entire volume has been injected then slowly withdraw solution to the desired amount

Now insert the needle into the desired powder form peptide to reconstitute and slowly inject the water

Inject the water down the inside wall of the vial to prevent foaming or bubble formation of the peptide DO NOT inject directly on to the powder

Once all the water is injected roll the vial in-between your hands to help mix the solution

DO NOT shake the vial excess shaking can reduce

peptide stability and cause foaming and excess air build up inside the vial

When the powder has dissolved into the liquid and is no longer visible the peptide is ready to use and must be stored in a refrigerator between 2°- 8°C while not in use
